This brief essay suggests what kinds of changes, ethically and societally responisble (art) institutions; in an era of environmental challenges, must commit to solve.

ABSTRACT


What kinds of guidelines, practices and values, must (art) institutions be  goverened by, in ordered to reform its overall organization societally and ethically, in an era of environmental change? (Art) institutions should be held accountable for changes needed to face environmental, social and economic challenges. They have a societal and ethic responsibility to promote value-driven institutional practices and guidelines. In this brief essay, the author will face these ethical and societal responispility by suggesting values, practices and guidelines for an 'institutionworthy' (art) institution, that adresses its social, economical and environmental responsibility. The author will start out by sorting out the ethical and societal responsibility, and then turn to the social, economical and environmental opportunities of (art) institutions. The overall task is to suggest an introduction to how (art) institutions can become more reform friendly and face the challenges suggested in this short abstract. And finally, try to decipher and answer the opening question of this short abstract.
