I run IART Ingrid Katrine Amundsen, which was established in 2009, and the web portal; iart.no, was created in 2007, but has gone through some fundamental changes in design and content. This is a nonprofit web portal without any political agenda.
My academic journey
I have a general interest in societal issues, whether its geograpphy, economy, innovation, psychology, the environment, culture, such as e.g. art. But, certain themes goes through my academic story: a future oriented take on social criticism, wholeness, through being creative, use my intuition, create analysis, viaual spatial approaches, and to seek for innovative solutions to challenges that are systemic. During my journey, I simply have overcome obstructions, and found unexpected solutions, and you can find them on this web portal. The core passions, mentioned, I would not have explored, if I did not take the academic journey, which started out in 1997, when I started at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture (KADK), and continued at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). Nevertheless, what I did not know is that I would end up with an education, that I wrote an highschool-essay on in 1995; a Master in Human Geography. And finally, nor did I know that I would persue my key childhood devotions: (intellectual) writing and photography. I have returned to my roots! To fulfill the circle I have also planned to take up my teenage sport: sailing. I love sports!

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I hold a MA in Architecture from The Oslo School of Architecture (AHO), and a MA in Human Geography from UiO. My main interest is human geography, particularly economic geography with questions
related to social and green justice, evolutionary economic geography, system theory and innovation. Methodologically I am particularly interested in radical interdisciplinarity and open science. I explore my interests through radical and interdisiplinary academic writings, being a former board member in Kristian Ottesen`s Prize Work Group, participation as a former board member in Green Students and being on Green Student's voting list for two consecutive years. I am also quite innovative and was a participant in the finale in two innovation contests. As an artist and architect I am particularly interested in street art, photography, sculpture, contemporary art, architecture and urbanism, expressive painting and color, installations and performance art. I enjoy writing more conceptual short texts too.

As a person with sports interests I have been on the national team in sailing for four consecutive years and I have been competing for my home district's alpine skiing team for several years, as a teenager. I am deeply fascinated by fine art and music, exciting cultural events and scientific lectures. In my spare time I enjoy kayaking and swimming. I am also planning to start sailing again.
